The First Green SME with Demonstrative Influential Power Event

Background:
In the tide of the green revolution in Chinese economy, SMEs (Small & Medium Enterprises) play an important and irreplaceable role. They are more able to get hold of the trend of new technological development, therefore, more flexible. However, they face severe difficulties in getting fund and better managerial support compared to bigger enterprises.

In order to promote the effective management and development of SMEs so as to attract more attention and funds from the government and investors' circle, we decide to launch this event.

The First Green SME Demonstrative Influential Power Event is launched in November, 2011. The event will last for half a year, during which the organisers will select 15 green SMEs with domonstrative influential power in the whole China. Meanwhile, the organisers will also compile and publish a report titled The Influential Power of Green SMEs.

Event Objectives:
1: Select and encourage Chinese green SMEs with demonstrative influential power;
2: Call for and share the successful cases done by these SMEs;
3: Evaluate the development state of Chinese green SMEs;
4: Attract more attention from all sectors so that the funding and development environment for green SMEs might improve.

Target SMEs:
Green SMEs are those, who, by providing products, technologies and services, promote the environmental protection arena.

Standard Instructions:
The standard for selecting the 15 best green SMEs with demonstrative influential SMEs is based on the triple botton line of economic, environmental and social performances.
