Recently, the Ministry of Public Security issued a notice, requiring the inspection and rectification of latent fire risks to be further strengthened and quickened. Inspection of latent fire risks should be finished before June 30 and rectification should be completed before July 31. Any enterprises failing to carry out rectification within the time limit should be subject to administrative punishment and enforcement. According to reports, totally 148,147 major latent fire risks have been found until June 17.
