More and more people in Shanghai want a greener lifestyle and the Eco Design Fair will be a great starting point. It will be a groundbreaking event to raise awareness of environmental issues and to help make it easier for the general public to make sustainable lifestyle choices.

Taking place at China's first carbon neutral hotel, the fair will be the only place in the city to see and buy well-designed, environmentally aware products in one place. Products for sale include organic clothing, home accessories, furniture, natural beauty products, stationary, toys, building materials, organic food products plus more information on developing a more sustainable lifestyle. Organic farmer's market, BBQ, and drinks available throughout the day.

A portion of the proceeds to be donated to Shanghai Roots & Shoots. The Eco Design Fair donations will be dedicated to buying voluntary carbon offsets in their tree planting program in Inner Mongolia.
