The group met periodically to review regulatory developments, conduct training, and share best practices. GE China shared its best practices with Shanghai Health Bureau and other Shanghai-area companies. As of 2006, the GE Foundation had also committed over US$360,000 in grants to the China Center for Disease Control to facilitate the development of occupational health training for Chinese industry.
